The Ventricular shunts are (VP,VA,and VPL). The Lumbar ones are (LP and LS). Main difference in Lumbar shunts inserted in the back between two vertebrae.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idiopathic_intracranial_hypertension

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lumbar-peritoneal_shuntTimothy Landryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02116740109899899716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4113176436693403378.post-23062975463352397032013-07-13T13:32:27.761-07:002013-07-13T13:32:27.761-07:00Is this the same kind of shunt used for ptc or iih...Is this the same kind of shunt used for ptc or iih?cushiemonsterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03027364401101658379noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4113176436693403378.post-14329683307386680542013-07-12T20:43:17.134-07:002013-07-12T20:43:17.134-07:00I love this website :) thank you timothy I love this website :) thank you timothy Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06619203949797045849noreply@blogger.com
